Sarah Snider

Hi I’m Sarah Snider and I’m a certified Personal Trainer. I have been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 15 years. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University (2005), and also studied Exercise Science abroad at the University of Wollongong (Australia) for one year.


After completion of university, I worked simultaneously in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic and at a fitness facility, and it was here I developed a passion for re-introducing clients to a healthy lifestyle incorporating good nutrition and appropriate exercises.


I have spent the last 7 years specializing in pre/postnatal training, and I am the License Owner of Mommy and Baby Fitness Workout and Play™ in Newmarket/Aurora, Ontario.  I believe that continuing education is crucial for staying at the leading edge of the fitness field, and commit myself to regular training seminars and conferences.


I create programs for busy moms who are struggling with the overwhelm of motherhood. I coach them to transform their health while feeling confident, energetic and most importantly guilt-free! I am passionate about creating a supportive community of health-conscious moms to empower you to reach your own health goals!


I live with my husband Jason, and our 3 beautiful and busy children! Since giving birth to our daughter in 2011 and sons in 2013 and 2016, I have become dedicated to providing safe effective exercises to pre and postnatal mothers. I am a huge advocate of “moms helping moms”, and acknowledge the impact regular physical activity has on the psychosocial and lifestyle aspects of families.


When not working to develop fitness/nutrition programs, I love to spend time reading (huge Harry Potter fan!), being outdoors, cottaging, and playing tennis. Jason and I have been blessed to spend a lot of time travelling (before kids!) and we have a dream to “world-school” our children as they get a bit older. Not as adventurous as I once was, I am proud to say that in my younger years I’ve flown in a stunt plane, gone skydiving, bungee jumped over the Zambezi River, and survived numerous white-water rafting trips!
